The Abbott set-up had a lot more torque at low rpm. I thought it was
overly harsh on the transmission. The motor would make good
power up to 4500 rpm and then it tailed off.
The SQR s/w is much more linear. It will does not pull as hard at
low rpm, but it will keep making power up to the red-line. Mine is putting
out 17-18 psi from 2500 to 5000 at full throttle, I think the SQR s/w
is more drivable and easier on the transmission.
I never really liked the way Abbott makes it's power by increasing the
base boost to rediculous levels and essentially disabling the T5's
ability to control boost. I'm much happier with the SQR s/w.
