The Abbott ECU requires a high pressure

wastegate actuator that raises the base boost.
The SQR ECU uses the stock actuator and stock base boost
setting. So from going from Abbott to sqr required putting the
original actuator back in.
I don't know how much torque the SQR has with the auto.
I have not had it on a dyno.
The abbott ECU had 260 ft-lbs measured on a dyno, but that was
between 2500 and 4000 rpm, and fell off above that.
The SQR ECU produces much more linear power over the entire
rev range, rather than huge amounts of transmission destroying
torque at low rpm.
I never would have put the Abbott system in my Aero, if I had
understood the T5 system well enough to realize that Abbotts
method of getting power relies on defeating one part of Saab's
trionic engine control.
By the way, both ECUs get about the same milage. In mixed driving
around 23-24. All highway, about 28.
