Saab rookie seeking advice

First, thanks for previous responses. I want to join the Saab family, and I am looking at two cars: One a 94 Aero manual, 120k, emaculate, owned and babied for its entire life by a Saabophile (is that an acceptable term?), comes with fancy new tires and snows, etc.; the other, a 97 CSE turbo automatic with 108 k, has some body damage, seems to drive wonderfully but I have no idea about its service history and maintainance, tires are worn. Both cost around 5500, but I would have to travel for the Aero (I haven't test driven it). I'm stuck on this decision and desparately need advice; anything you more knowledgable Saab folks could tell me would be deeply appreciated. Thanks--Nils
P.S. The Aero looks cooler...
