Stick with the known, well taken care of car

Having just bought a 97 9000 CSE that I thought had been taken care of better, I'd say stick with the known babied commodity. I'll take a 12 year old car that has been taken care of over a nicer (on paper) 9 year old car that has not been well maintained.
For me examples were:
1) paint was not as well taken care of as I first thought.
2) inside of car was not clean (crumbs, fresh stains)
3) blown fuse, which really is a very small maintenace item
4) out of alignment (not a biggie, but still...)
I'd be willing to bet that a true saabophile car, will not have these problems.
