First, your right leg gets very stiff as you mash the pedal into the floor, then your hands grip the wheel harder, your forearms get tense, your neck stiffens, your pupils dilate, and the increasing noise of the engine reachs your ears... the road noise rises and as you hear the engine start to scream to redline you prepare to shift...

and then, in your rearview mirror, you notice the highway patrol far far behind you and you ease off the throttle, shift into fifth, and ease out of the fast lane to obscurity in the masses, hoping to avoid a speeding ticket...

after awhile the crusier passes by and you have, once again, been spared a meeting with traffic school...

and then it starts all over...
