Annie, I just got over fixing a very similar problem. Car was going into LHM and the tech II code said throttle body. Someone on this board suggested I try the safety valve 1st as it is a very common failure and can show up on the Tech II scanner as a TB failure. $80 later for a safety valve from eEuroparts.com and the problem was gone - it was the safety valve. A few months after that though my throttle body really did go (different symptoms - TB failure usually shows up while driving and a safety valve failure usually shows up shortly after starting the car). I got a great one from Ultima. That was in March, so I know they were still around as of 3 months ago. I would also check the battery, as i have learned from experience that a weak battery can cause all sorts of problems. My guess is that it is not the TB, but David Ingram would know much better than me. Good luck!
