Thanks so much for your reply. I guess all I can do is have faith in the guy I took it to, but he is very reputable and has a lot of years of experience working on Saabs, so I feel like the car is in good hands. I'm just hoping it doesn't end up costing me more than I can justify paying for this car (as much as I love it).

Anyway, I don't know the story with Ultima, but all I know is that when my mechanic called me to say that he suspected the throttle body, he mentioned to me that he had no source for rebuilt ones any more. Beyond that, I don't know what happened. But he did order my previous rebuilt TB from Ultima a few years ago.
