Those symptoms definately sound like the safety valve as opposed to the TB. I would change it again as it is extremely easy to do yourself and relatively inexpensive. I would also change the red & white check valve while you were at it. I could be wrong, but I definately would bet on the saftey valve. When I was having these problems myself and the dealership was telling me I needed a new Throttle body - David Ingram advised me to change the safety valve first, and he was right! Saved me big $$$. He told me that with these symptoms, 90% of the time it turns out to be the safety valve, and they do go regularly. Seeing that you are located in the same town as the TCS guru himself, I would leave your car at his mercy. He'll get it fixed for the least amount of money possible. When you finally do get it fixed, please post the solution that actually fixed it so we all know. Good luck!
Tim
