the trans comes out of the thingie that is attached to the engine (forgot the name, brain fart). it just slides out

how are you going to support the engine and the trans? i used 3 tuba fores for the engine, with locking nylon cargo straps (non-ratcheting) for both, but if i did it again, i would get an ATV jack (around $80 at many places) for the trans. a floor jack won't work well, the trans is an odd shape and it doesn't balance well.
