Needs time to get the oil pressure and oil into the tappets and oil t least you the the very smart time and rotated the engine by hand and doubled check everything. The tensioner is mechanical and just ratchet out as the chain wears along with the sprocket teeth. Warm the engine-up and enjoy the work and time you just did. glad to hear that you didn't just drive the car if you felt it wasn't correct. Happy Saabing!
