plauged by reliability issues. There are/were 3 separate ECU's involved, (each one potentially problematic) unfortunately of Bosch mfg, this being part of the problem as well IMO.
Even the basic premise was silly, traction control through applying the brakes!? That's just Lame. Cleverer setups cut engine power as required. Easy answer is avoid the rascals, IMO simply not worth the Aggro to own one willingly.
Fly by wire can be a decent invisible setup, when done with care and precision. Yamaha R1 and R6 motorcycles use such. Having a 'competent' ECU betwixt the engine power (180 hp) and rider's brain can save one's life while applying power smoothly and seamlessly, regardless of what fool inputs are given.
