Fred, you most certainly have boost control issues, or lack boost control. An uncontrolled T25 will boost right up to boost cut and I'm surprised you haven't experienced it, if you push the car at all.
I've had bad BPC valves and didn't realize it around town except for a rather responsive throttle. After several BPC valves failed I made a circuit that allows other valves to replace the T5 valve. Currently running a 9-5 valve with some success, and a GM valve worked well also.
