New Question: can I move my 5-spd 92 9000... Posted by TODDMO [Email] (#493) [Profile/Gallery] (more from TODDMO) on Sun, 22 Aug 2010 21:13:41 In Reply to: Derf is right, marvinstockman, Sun, 22 Aug 2010 20:26:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
out of the driveway and maybe 20 feet more with very little gearbox oil in it. I need room for the 87 now.
Remember, I have a major leak coming from the trans side of the bealhousing. We're talking 1st gear with enough clutch slipping to ease out of the driveway and through the drainage dip onto the street.
Yes, I could push the car, but I have a sticking feeling (pun intended) that the brake pads have rusted solid by now. Also, I have street sweeping, so the car may have to do a u-turn accoss the street before the 87 9000S is complete. I think I will order the parts myself and DO the work myself. I've had terrible luck with mechanics/shops lately. When I do my own work, it's on my timeframe and done to MY satisfaction.
