Only the Aero 5 spd was fitted with the T04 turbo.
T25 is good to perhaps 250/60 hp. T04 is good to maybe 300.
Autobox is reasonably safe to the limits of the t25, as long as you Do Not Stop light drag race.
Turbo swaps easily IF you have all the '04's oil lines/fittings on hand.
Note that 5 spd ECus limit torque in 1st and 2nd, autobox ecu limits it in 1st (both use the same ecu, only the programing setup differs, the difference is simply a program box choice to 'tick' when using T5 suite to tune your ecu (ECU project web site)
Often even barely tuned Auto boxes are 'quicker' than 5spd Aeros... in semi urban uses. The torque multiplier effect of the autobox does that.
Personally, although my current 9k is my first/only Automatic, I've become happily accustomed to not having to shift gears, especially so in thick traffic conditions. Getting old I guess :-)
IF the car is in good condition and by now you are probably a good judge of that.. IMO, it will please you in the long run.
