using exclusively 94 octane fuel on both, the 5sp Aero boost needle goes 3/4 into the red then settles modulating between 1/4 and 1/2. The auto CSE never goes near the red, and hovers near the beginning of the hatched section.
I'm not sure if the '94/up cars behave differently--the only newer one I've driven was a 5sp '95 CS LPT, which was way torquier off the line than either '93, owing to the higher compression ratio in the '94/up cars.
It's worth mentioning that the TD04 turbo in the '93 5sp Aero is a 15G, while the unit used in '94/up 5sp Aeros is a 15T.
The engine itself is the same, Aero or not. The only difference is 5sp Aeros got the TD04 turbo, and different software.
I wouldn't worry about replacing the T25 in the '95 Aero automatic. Use T5Suite to tune it if you want a bit more oomph.
Do note that VERY LITTLE is compatible between your '93 and a '95... MAJOR changes were made mechanically and electrically in '94, and although the cars look the same, the '93 has more in common with the early DI/APC 2.3s than the later Trionic 5.5 cars. It is an extremely weird transition year, with its own version of Trionic (T5.2), plus there's TCS to deal with.
