The car idles fine because at idle the ignition timing is STATIC. At highway speeds, the ignition timing must advance, depending on load, as much as 24 degrees. All of this is easily monitored using an obd2 scanner in real time.
Look for a broken vacuum line, blown pcv valve(bidirectional flow) or failure at MAP sensor (which provides data to the ECU to advance the timing). Does not sound like a DI Cassette failure to me.
Also look for blow out of bypass hose below throttle body(braas fitting). The data from the MAP sensor is suspect, because the engine wouldn't idle with a bad crankshaft pos sensor. It wouln"t start at all.
