I started using Rotella 5w40 synthetic in 2009 and never looked back. it was named Rotella T then. The current formulation is named Rotella T6.

Rotella T6 is an old school oil (satisfies API SH classification). It meets the requirements specified for our engines at a no nonsense price. It is usually on the shelf at the local WalMart.

I stopped worrying about oil related problems like turbo failure long ago.
