Fender liners on this car are OK aside from a small missing cover right in front of the crank pulley. I guess it lets a small amount of junk in but there have been no problems there.

I checked the Haynes manual for the 9000 which has always proven to be pretty useless. It did not disappoint this time either. There is no mention of replacing the backing plates or any photos showing how they attach. Par for the course.

I'll probably just let it go until next time this car needs front brakes and then take a closer look.
