There are a couple mechanics listed here in Michigan in the links at the bottom of the page - Ann Arbor and New Haven. I know there's a few Michigan people on the 9-5 board that may know someone around Detroit - you may consider posting there, or on the General board, looking for someone in your area.

I'm up by Saginaw, but my guy recently closed (Trio Motors in Burton), so I'm pretty much back to wrenching on my own....
