I am confused. Previously, Anders said "On a healthy accumulator you usually get 4-5 pumps on pedal before hydraulic pump start and 12-14 pumps until ABS warning lights comes on."
You (urbanshocker) just stated that "After two pumps of the pedal it comes back on and after 14 it throws the Brake Fluid and (ABS) lights."
It sounds to me like the pump is starting early, i.e. after two pumps of the brake pedal, because the brake accumulator is worn; if the pump is running too often, it will probably heat up the ABS relay more than usual. The accumulators do wear out (leak) and the one in your car is now 25 years old. As a genuine SAAB part they are quite pricey, but the same part is probably available with a different label for much, much less. My brother replaced the brake accumulator on his C900 convertible with one for either a Jaguar or Buick Reatta, as written about in the C900 forum, and the part was reasonably priced - brakes work fine again.
