Thanks Street. I have ordered a crank position sensor as the tach signal is really wonky when cold. Sometimes bounces down to zero then back up. It runs crappy for about 4 or 5 minutes and then the problem is gone until you do a cold start again. It's odd that it started happening on both of my 97 CSE's about the same time. I can hear what sounds like a big vacuum leak under the throttle body but I didn't take any of that apart when I did the head gasket. I just unbolted the intake and pulled the head.
