Low idle speed Posted by skibumm100 [Email] (#3255) [Profile/Gallery] (more from skibumm100) on Mon, 6 Jun 2022 05:07:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
After doing the HG job on the white CSE, the idle seem low in gear. I assume the IAC valve controls this. Is there a learning process for idle speed? I replaced the intake gasket as part of the job and some hoses that were suspect. My heated PCV hose disintegrated into several chunks, luckily I had a good on of my old green Aero (RIP). Should the idle adjust itself over time or do I need to pull the IAC? I also changed upper motor mounts, tensioner pulley and idler pulley. Turns out the new idler pulley was about 1/4" bigger in diameter. I discovered this after fighting to get the belt on for a half hour. I wonder if it's for my 9-5?
