I hooked up the Tech 2 yesterday and went in found the IAC and hit the "Activate" button and it ran through some procedure and showed a bar graph showing progress and it completed the process. I assume that means it strokes the IAC through full travel. It did not seem to help the low idle in drive. It idles around 800 in park but drops to about 600 in drive. It acts like it wants to stall and I think the A/C compressor engaging would be enough to kill it. Even in park it would occasionally stall. When I first started it up this morning the tach signal was bouncing around a few hundred RPM while going down the road. It did not seem like the engine speed was changing that much. I would expect the car to jerk around more if it was. Once it warmed up, the tach readings seemed to be more normal and stable. I did spray break cleaner around the intake manifold gasket area in case I had damaged the gasket during installation to rule that out.
