Thanks for replying so helpfully to my query here Goblin !!

In several of my 9Ks that connection block has been the source of problems - thanks for this reminder.

This is a good time for me to ask & learn simply because it is around 90F here so I'm stuck inside until the insane heat passes.

Taking apart the front doors, locks, etc. will be a last choice for me - and if anything as 1st choices I'd find & replace the alarm module as I have one from my '94 and also the working switch pack from it.
(And if I somehow missed that module I can get it when weather allows as the stripped down car is sitting in the back 40 at my indie's place.)
