I had a 1998 9000CSE (aero engine) that lived in Michigan for two years when it was new. I bought it in 2004 when it lived in the south and thought it was rust-free. but those years in the rust belt did the damage, the rust istarted n hidden places and kept spreading underneath. it doesn't matter what you do, rust never sleeps. so, don't drive it in the winter and drive it only after the rains have washed away all the salts in the spring. drive a clunker instead if you want the aero to last. the 9000 was the best driving/touring car that I ever owned, sold it cheap. 90SPG,92TC,01Viggen vert,06 9-3vert
