My 89 Saab Turbo (automatic transmission) has been sitting for a long time. It runs, but there is no braking. Brake pedal goes to the floor. The Brake fluid reservior is full, and does not appear to be leaking fluid. I have read alot of posts, and it seems it could be m/c or pump, but have no idea how to diagnose, before replacing m/c.

Any directions on the way to approach the problem? Have Saab Service manuals, and Haynes, but I am my friend who works on cars (but not Saab) are trying to fix the brakes. Manual hand brake works find.

Any help would be appreciated, or resource to diagnose.
