It is a 1997 9000. So I have put in three different edus plus the rest of the gauge cluster. They seem to all three read a little different but are definitely not reading what the actual temperature is inside of my shop. I haven't actually taken one out of one of my other cars that I know are reading correct just don't really feel like doing that. But when I turn this edu that has been in the car on my temperature gauge automatically goes up just about 2 mm and none of the other edus that I put in the car did that just the temperature gauge was a little off. Trying to figure out if there's something actually wrong with this pedometer cluster Plus the edu or exactly what's going on that's why I was trying to send one overseas to get fixed. Yeah I don't get into political stuff very often but for him to group everybody together is a little annoying even after he offered in April to accept them I don't know what happened after that but then he told me no when I emailed him when I told him I was ready to send them and it was going to cost a chunk of change it would have been around $650 to do the two that I was going to send him and I don't remember if that actually included shipping. But anyway it's not that big of a deal as far as the outside temperature gauge goes I'm just wondering if something else is going on with the edu or the actual speedometer cluster itself but I do have five or six of them around that I can swap things around and maybe actually get everything working like it should be with the other 9000s that I have here. I'm not really good at electronic stuff I do have a friend that said he would come over he's got a really good memory when it comes to this kind of thing maybe he can help run me through this and do some testing on all of this in different combinations with different edus and different speedometer gauges and maybe we can figure something out. Good thing is ,is the blower is back in the car and the ACC is working like it should. If anybody has any more insight let me know.
