Thinking of getting a 92 9000CD Turbo, appreciate some opinions

Hi all,
I am thinking of getting a 92 9000CD Turbo 4dr. I have some questions and will appreciate some feedbacks from the owners.
1. What's a Griffin Edition?
2. Is there problems with TCS control or the ETS? What do they stand for?
3. How about the "Direct Ignition Cassette" and Turbo bypass valve? Are they easy to fail?
According to the dealer, the prev owner (only 1 owner) put new transmission about 20,000km ago, and also replace the "entire" ABS and break system. The car has 158,000km. (Need to find out what exactly were replaced) The car comes with full service records, no accident. What would be a fair market value for the car?
I was also doing some research on the Edmunds site and found the price should be around $7,500 USD. However, there is a post on their message board that say Consumers Report warns to avoid year 1992 to 1994 Saabs - all Saabs. Is that true?
Here's the URL. The quote is from the last post.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Eric
