Why does Saab recommend 10W30?

My opinion is you are making serious mistake putting 15W50 oil in a Saab. These are tight engines and need good oil flow. Also, if it is a turbo, lack of enough oil will quickly kill the turbo. Also, the most damage to an engine is on startup. The the 15W50 will take longer to get through the engine, especially in cold weather. You have many miles on your engine, most likely with 10W30. Why change it now?
