The idle speed is something I'll have to have a real mechanic check. I know where the bolt is but not how to differntiate the effect from adjusting the throttle cable and fuel mixture. Most pictures of 99s I see and my other car show 3 threads showing on the bolt that's as close as I can get. Right now I can completely close off the air or open it as I wish (for starting) I'm still not clear on how the auxillairy air valve closes and opens or why it needs voltage/current. I've had one apart and all I see is the spring loaded door and the copper wire wrapped sensor attached to the wires. What moves to close the vavle door? Thanks.
