I've had the same issues and offer the following. D-jet was also common on 140 series Volvo and Type 3 (Squareback) VW's of the same vintage so there are more potential pumps out there than an initial search might lead.
If functionality is more important than originality, the inline pump from a 5 series BMW will provide the right flow rate and with just a little creativity mount cleanly to the stock location. (been there, done it) Should you want to keep it all Saab, the later CIS in tank pump and tank are a bolt up with minor changes, but a tank swap is not a fun job..also btdt.
Your pressure drop might actually be the injectors, as they wear out. The tips get worn out and the internals do leak if exposed to our delightful ethanol enhanced fuel..the solution is a set of Jaguar XJS injectors (just 4 not 12)....Worldpac sells them qty.1 and are plug and play with the correct flow rate.
