I am curious what you used for the metal check valve in your previous postings on the fuel return line. I'm getting ready to do a tank swap, found out that the early ( 1981 ) tank did not have the right front corner relief sculpted into it, so the rear brake conversion has interference between the tank and the lever arm on the right rear brake caliper. My plastic check valve is above the tank, I think buried, so I would rather change it out during this transplant to the 1986 tank. Thanks
This is probably a comment/question for jimmy ---- does the 78 L gas cap need ventilation or is it one of the ones where the tank doesn't have a gascap vent?? I read about that somewhere, all I can recall is that there was a vented and non vented on the CIS at some point.
