OK, so sorting this out with Gary on the accumulator part numbers, my needs are a bit different than the posting author -- so, the VW part number question for solving the Saab 99 fuel accumulator -- Gary mentioned he didn't have the VW part number at hand, so here it is -- 431133441
They are available for under $200 if you can search them out. At least that is what I found, but I didn't try to procure one, and that can be a different story.
By the way, to eliminate the confusion I created on the tank issue and the brake caliper lever from the parking brake and interference with the tank. I run a 900 body, not a 99, so this was really off topic for the posting author. I was trying to get the return line check valve sorted before I did a tank swap in the 900 body. sorry for the confusion.
