Saabers:
I'm tired of the feeling of driving an old car. Now understand, there is a difference between driving an old car and driving a restored one. An old car drives and ride like crap. An old car has squeeks and rust and a lot of time second rate body work which in my humble opinion is critical to having a real peice of art. I hate that wavering bond look especially on the 96 for the shape is so wedge.
Yesterday, I took a long look at the 96 ...and so much wrong with it. Worn suspension, electrical, headliner..dots of rust here and there, the beautiful bondo wavering here and there. Open the hood..aha! the typical drabby engine with old looking engine bay paint. It makes me want to tear the 96 completely apart and renew every single item including the bondo fenders and make a brand new car.
One problem! I marched into the house, hit the computer and price everything(including a rebuilt engine) an OEM type of paint work, etc
Whew!! Over fifteen grand easy Saabers.
Money talks..bull823t walks. I guess I'll drive an old car a little bit longer
