The economic advantages are beside the point. I seriously doubt that you'll find others who think that taking the soul out of a classic Saab to replace it with a VW diesel is "cool". At least I hope you don't - people who do engine transplants in classic cars have little to no understanding of what the classic car hobby is all about.
