The real problem other than no room, is weight, diesels are much heaver. the long nose is on the edge now, I moved my battery to under the rear seat just to get the weight transfer rerarward and lower. If there was a diesel that would bolt up, the V4 turns four to five grand at hwy speed, most diesels like to turn half that RPM. I have seen pictures of 2.2J and trannie Subbies in a long nose, with 140 HP it looked like it would RUN.
Come on Toto lets go to Topeka to see if we can find a good used Subbie.
