96 front wheel bearing

Since we've been in a Covid19 semi lock-down state i've decided to take care of that whinny front wheel bearing on my 96. I've removed the shaft assembly from the car, purchased a press and removed the bearing and seals from the bearing housing. I have not removed the CV joint from the outside drive shaft. My question is this. Is there an easy way to press the bearing back on without disassembling the CV joint? And if I need or should disassemble the CV joint, what is the best way to go about it without having the recommended tool. Thanks Saabers. Now keep practicing social distancing and stay healthy!
