The explaination of torque steer is not exactly correct. Torque steer is a condition where the steering wheel is pulled to the right or left due to uneven application of power to the front drive wheels.
I experience severe torque steer when accelerating out of turns. This has been reduced since I replaced my tires with 205/55/15 BFG Touring T/A. In the rain the torque steer is very bad too.
