I have had my 9-3 convertible since June. It has had many many problems, and, if I were car shopping again, I would avoid the Saab dealership completely. To Date:
1. The fifth gear won't engage occasionally
2. The 'defrost' setting on the climate control does not function
3. Something on the driver's side of the car rattles constantly
4. The clutch screeches during any "hard" useage or quick shifts
5. The A/C leaks water into the passenger footwell if it is on for extended periods of time.
My Saab has 3,500 miles on it. Though some of these problems are minor, my point is that any problems are ridiculous in a car that is brand new and this expensive. My roommate's Acura, which he autocrosses and road races constantly, has yet to have a problem of ANY sort. It has 12k miles.
Just my two cents, though, one upside is that my friends think I also have a nice 9-5 aero as well as my convertible, as that is my loaner car usually.
