the built in tool kit is in a slot next to the spare tire it contains several differant size screw drivers and a few small tools and a tire pressure gauge probably taken when the person sold the car to you i am a 99 9-3 se owner i put in cool blue headlights and saw little difference took them back and bought the silverstars they are worth it brighter light and crisper look they have been in for about 12 weeks no problems with them being to hot yet i am using synthetic oil that is what was speced from my dealer in p.a. a cup holder slash change holder fits in the space under the armrest porobably taken when you bought it by previous owner costs about 25$ for a new one hope this helps
