Head gasket failure is common in the 2.0 liter engine. There is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) #210-1714 on torque procedures for the headbolts as a preventative measure on this. See link below titled "Addendum..."
For tools needed see my post on "headbolt (re) torque" Paste this into your address bar. http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-3/index.html?bID=43408
Be sure and follow the TSB instructions exactly. I did this after finding a little bit of seepage where the head mates to the block just above the exhaust manifold. The breaking torque to loosen each bolt was significantly less than the final torque value so I'm convinced I avoided big trouble by being proactive.
Here is a guide to all tsb's. Enter the info for your car. Some headers will have .pdf files attached. All others they want you to pay for, but at least you'll get an idea about common problems. http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/tsb/
You'll find a whole page of links if you enter "air distribution box" this one's a bit more involved so read on...
as far as Amsoil goes, my feelings are it's best to do this yourself. I take my car to a mechanic when I have no other choice. And I stay away my local dealer as I've discovered they have some of the highest prices in North America on service and parts. email Dick in Falls Church, he's a frequent poster on this board and an Amsoil dealer.
Have fun with your Saab!
