I noticed this with my '99 9-3, but not on my '96 900SE. My mechanic told me that the surface of the 9-3 brakes are larger compared to the NG900 so they take longer to "dry" when the brakes are applied in wet conditions. I think he said that the 9-3 brakes will last longer because they don't get as hot.
