Prior to replacing my front rotors I read in a link provided by Dean that unless the seating surfaces for the rotors are near perfectly flat (I mean within thousandths of an inch) rotor warping will more than likely occur. This usually takes hundreds of mile to develop, however. Maybe take it in to have the runout checked on the rotors because I highly doubt you'd be able to see andy warpage caused by this. When replacing my rotors and pads I made absolutely certain that these surfaces were clean and free of corrosion before putting my new rotors on. I've got well over 4K miles on my new rotors and pads and they seem to be working fine. I do notice thought that they don't grab like the oem brakes until warmed up a little. But once they are warm, yikes. Stops on a dime.
