try the Optima battery from Interstate Batteries... I have the SC34R in my 1998 900SET and it works great. The Optima Spiracell technology seems to hold up to temperature variations better than the conventional batteries, and they have great reserve power ratings.
I do notice a dimming of the headlights when there is a large load (like the the A/C, or power window motors) at idle. So it may not eliminate the problem you are seeing.
