I bought a 2001 black Viggen coupe with 16K miles on it in May 2002 for that same price, so like others have said, I think you could do a little better on the price. Mine didn't have the extended warranty, though, which my dealer has quoted me $2300 to purchase. My car also had Yoko H4's on it, which I'm embarassed to report I still haven't replaced yet. They are just ok - certainly not great, but not dangerous either. Definitely not up to the rest of the car, and they don't do anything to quiet the torque steer, like good high performance tires are reported to do. I personally think they are good enough in the snow (I live in Boston and go to Vermont and New Hampshire a lot in the winter), but you have to take it easy. Bottom line, they're safe but you can do a lot better. I certainly won't buy them again myself. Go on tirerack.com, I think their survey results are about right for the tire.
That's probably the most that's ever been written about Yoko H4's on this board. As for the rest of the car, I'm biased, but I would vote with those who say spend the extra few thousand for a Viggen. As far as practicality goes, with the exception of the low front spoiler and the soft wheels, I think the Viggen is about as practical as a 9-3 SE.
Good luck.
