Every car has it's weak spots, and you should take car of those weak spots. I spray Rust Check (light, oil type rust proofing) in all the drain holes, and trying to get it to all the corners and seams where water and dirt may collect. The door bottoms, lower trunk lid, front of the hood....etc are all vulnerable. I also sprayed some of this stuff on the suspension bushings to condition them and eliminate the cold weather "crunch". Whenever I work on my car and find early signs of rust, I blast it with motorcycle chain lube, which is very stickey and will not wash off. During winter, I throughly hose the car down at the coin wash after each snow storm. When I looked under the car this spring, it was absolutly prestine. Even I was surprised how clean and rust free it was!!!
