Impressions of the Koni Kit?

I'm about to start collecting what I need to do struts and springs on my 99 9-3 SE.
I'm trying to decide between Eibach Springs with Bilstein struts, or the whole Koni Kit...the price difference is only $50. But I will probably never adjust them anyway -- so if this is the only advantage, it's a waste for me.
I want the car lower, and I definitely want to reduce body roll -- but I also don't want sore kidneys from riding around, since my home is in NJ and we have very poor roads.
Plenty of people have been talking about the Koni Kit, but none have said how it rides, or how much it lowers the car??? Both are critical for me. ckpaden, I know you planned to have some kits, have you installed any? impressions?
any input from anyone is greatly appreciated -- I need to make a decision soon. Thanks in advance!
