Glad to see that.
I wasn't searching for Saab when I purchased used in 2003, nothing appealed to me in my price range. Found my 99 9-3SE. Really knew nothing about it,
dealer maintained (I hadn't even seen warranty work from PO - thank goodness I'da run). Got 50K fun, trouble free miles since.
It was months before I even discovered the loud pedal.
It's peppy, economical, practical, safe, sexy. All to a degree of course.
These cars are not without their problems but most can be addressed ahead of time with diligence. Some, like yours, seem particularly troublesome but it will come around!
I like my car more all the time, and I'm proud to associate with the fine folks on this forum, might be the best part of owning a Saab.
