I would plan on 100k to 125k for replacement. I drove my 94 SE with original stuff until 134k, but it got scary after 130k, noticeable deterioration at 100k on that car. Now, my 00 9-3 SE with 103k, I can seel the front end is beginning to deteriorate slightly. I plan replacement at 110-115k at this rate and wont drive it as long as I did my 94 with the front end trashed.
The main problem is the upper strut mounts... open the hood - watch for excessive play and cracking of the rubber when turning the wheels back and forth. lso the rubber grommets on the control arm go bad. My old bearings and OEM shocks were fine, even at 134 k, but since you are in there, it is wise to replace them. Never had problems with ball joints or tie rod ends. Oh yeah, you will have the best luck with OEM parts, the Scan Tech mounts I used were crap and so are the KYB's.
