I have never dealt with that myself.
Need to point out that a failed anti-frost switch on the evaporator will cause the cutoff switch to cycle then fail. A new one can do the same.
I have always suspected that the problem may be a low charge that allows the low side pressure to be too low which drives the boiling point low enough to frost up the evaporator. Earlier models did have a frost switch that was prone to failure as well.
